Visiting Boaters and the CYC Reciprocal Program
To All Visiting Yacht Club Cruisers,
On behalf of the Board of Directors and Members of the Cobourg Yacht Club, we are pleased to welcome your members to visit and enjoy the Town of Cobourg and our Clubhouse.
The Cobourg Yacht Club is located to the west of the Marina building facing the outer harbour. We are a midway point on the north shore of Lake Ontario between Toronto and Kingston. Purchasing supplies both marine and food, as well as dining and shopping are close at hand to the harbour. This historical town hosts several festivals during the summer. These can be found on the Town’s website www.cobourg.ca .
The Cobourg Yacht Club is run by volunteers. We are open for dinner on Wednesday and Friday evenings from June until late September. Please drop by and join us for a meal or a drink or both! Wednesday is our keel racing and Thursday we have the centreboard fleet. Our sailing school is on the water during the two summer months.
Should you wish to stay in our harbour you would need to call the Cobourg Marina at 905 372 2397 to book a slip.
Reciprocal Slips: We have set aside two fully serviced reciprocal slips that are available for your second night stay. Reservations are available for reciprocals.
We look forward to seeing you this summer! Over the years our members have made good friends from many clubs and we always enjoy welcoming you to Cobourg.
