Racing Participant Registration 2026:  We are pleased to anticipate the beginning of the 2026 Keel and Centreboard racing programs. It is important that these events are enjoyable and safe for all to participate.

In 2025, the Ontario Sailing Association updated the requirements, that all sailing participants are aware of both the Safe Sport protocol, as well as Rowan’s Law with regard to Concussion Protocols in Sport.   Everyone, please access the following information as we prepare for an excellent year in sailing and racing.   

2026 Program Update

Important:

All CYC race participants must complete the Safe Sport and Rowan’s Law acknowledgements, as well as the Cobourg Yacht Club Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk prior to racing

Boat Registration

Each Skipper must also register and  pay the annual racing fee      prior to commencing the racing season.

It would be extremely helpful for returning Keel boats to register by May 6th, in order to set the fleets prior to Race 1, Series 1 on May 13, 2026.  (New racers may join anytime during the season)
